What it’s all about

 Yes it’s on again! Following on from the 2005, 2006 and 2007 successful events the Geelong Trailable Yacht Club is conducting the 2008 Trailable Yacht Festival over the weekend of 25-27th April at St Helens Geelong.  The 2008 Festival will continue the theme of “mucking about in boats” with a program that includes a “tag-along” cruise, social get-togethers, guest speakers, demonstrations and displays of marine equipment and competitions for the best cruising and safety-wise boats.  We are pleased at announce that extra mooring spaces are now available at St Helens for this year’s event as new floating pontoons have been installed in the boat harbour.  Any trailable yacht is welcome to attend. There are only two basic conditions for attendance:  

  1. all attending yachts must have a minimum of $5,000,000 3rd party liability insurance and

    2.   

  2. all attending yachts must comply with the State Boating Regulations as specified by Marine Safety Victoria
