A number of displays and demonstrations of interest to trailable yacht owners have been arranged for Sunday morning. These include:• Marine flare lighting and operation • Do it yourself fibreglass repairs • “Making life easier” with Bob Couper • Easy mast raising systems demonstration.

Paines Wessex are giving the demonstration on flares. They will showing the correct method of letting off red and orange flares. Bring your out-of-date flares with you for possible use.

Dennis McDowell of local fibreglass fabricators and repairers, McDowell and Venn, will demonstrate how you can mend those cracks and blemishes in your boat’s gelcoat.

Bob Couper will talk about many of his ideas on “making life easier” in a trailable yacht.

David Jenkins of Mastmate will demonstrate his lastest ideas to make mast raising on your boat a simple and painless operation.

SPECIAL GUESTS: Flo Barnett and Eric Gibbons

Eric Gibbons and Flo Barnett along with their Court 750 Erflo. Eric and Flo would arguably be the most travelled, both in terms of road and sea miles, of any trailer yacht couple in Australia. It will be an experience to hear of their exploits around Australia, especially their voyages along the WA Kimberley coast.

There will two different categories:
1.Best presented boat: safety, set-up & accessibility
2.Best set up boat for cruising
