Registrations are still coming in for the weekend. To date there are 43 boats attending, with others registered just for the Saturday night dinner with Eric and Flo.

Speaking of Eric and Flo, two of our guest speakers for the weekend; Erflo arrived at St Helens last Saturday on yet another trip around Australia. Eric and Flo are sight-seeing around Geelong this week, and using their boat to explore Corio Bay.

Added to the already published Sunday morning demonstrations program are: display and information on the range of MacGregor 26X TYs; display and information on a new type of folding trailable trimaran and demonstration of the innovative mast raising system products from Mast Mate.

Confirmed are:• Marine flare lighting and operation • Do it yourself fibreglass repairs • “Making life easier” with Bob Couper • Easy mast raising systems demonstration.

Thank you to all those who have registered for the 2008 Festival. This year’s event is shaping up to be the best ever with a 3 day weekend again, good sailing grounds, a relaxing social program and well-travelled and experienced guest speakers and presenters.

Invite your friends to check out the trailer sailing scene, to inspect and sail the different types and classes of boats at the Festival.

A month to go before the 2008 Trailable Yacht Festival and the news just keeps getting better.

We are pleased to announce that well-known Cruising Helmsman correspondent, Bob Couper, will be one of our presenters on Sunday morning. Bob, the Ideas Locker man, will present a session on “making life easier”; tips and tricks to make your TY cruising more enjoyable.
